Dr. Seuss Week

This Week In Pre-K

Letter: Uu

Religion:
The Good Samaritan
The House on the Sand and Rock

 Theme: Dr. Seuss

In honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday we spent the past week reading his books!  The students enjoyed hearing a variety of his silly rhyming books.  We completed some Dr. Seuss projects to help us remember some of our favorite stories and had some special themed days.

We enjoyed putting on puppet shows this week!

Oh, the Places You'll Go!  The 5 day class picked their favorite places to go!

We practiced our numbers by using goldfish crackers.

The 5 day class on Wacky Wednesday!

Silly Sock Day!!

We painted foxes to go with the book "Fox in Socks"

The 3 day class wore Silly Socks while reading Fox in Socks!

We also played a few games with our shoes.

It was green day in the 2 day class.  We enjoyed reading "Green Eggs and Ham!"

They lined up all the chairs for a movie theater.  They even turned the lights down a little and made pretend popcorn cups for their friends.

Things are looking wacky in this picture!

We even did some wacky things on Wednesday.  We were allowed to sit on the tables!  We had TOO much fun!!

Some friends enjoyed coloring under the table on Wacky Wednesday.

The 2 day class had Hat Day.  We read "The Cat in the Hat."

We used our hands to make Thing 1 and Thing 2.  When we were done painting, we mixed our hands together and made the color purple!

I saw these friends playing teacher and re-reading some of their favorite Dr. Seuss books.

We had a fun Dr. Seuss Week!
