THis Week IN PRE-K:
Joseph is Sold
Mrs. Koosman's Class: Nocturnal Animals (Owls and Bats)
Miss Becker's Class: Community Helpers
We are thankful to one of our Pre-K dads and his coworker who volunteered their time to teach us about fire safety. Our favorite part was seeing all the firefighter gear! We practiced giving high fives to show that we don't have to be afraid of firefighters if we see them in our house.
Make sure you check your smoke detector batteries each month.
Do you have a fire safety plan in place at your house? Practice with your child what you would do if there was a fire in your house. Make sure you have a safe meeting place outside.
Remember to teach your child how to call 9-1-1 for an emergency!
Each class put together a family book. We love to learn about each other!
Each day we gather together to pray for each other and any other prayer requests on our hearts.
These classmates chose to read the Bible during play time and act out our Bible Time!
We work on our letter writing skills while also strengthening our fine motor skills.
PK3 had fun being police officers for the day! We worked together keeping our "community" clean and following the rules.
We learned about Joseph from the Bible and decorated his multi-colored coat his father gave him. God had a special plan for Joseph to help God's people and Joseph's family.
We used different shapes to make a fire truck!
We loved learning the song "Hurry, hurry drive the fire truck!"
We learned about doctors and laced together our very own doctor bag!
We used our hands to paint spiders!
