Working on our 1 to 1 correspondence and counting skills!
On brown day we had fun painting with different instruments to see what print they would make.
Using a patterned roller to paint.
Stamping with legos.
Painting with a car.
Painting with a brush.
We even tried painting with forks.
We made flames with our hands. We talked about how this is the only fire we can touch!
We learned and practiced how to STOP, DROP, COVER (our eyes) and ROLL.
On black day we painted black crosses. The cross reminds us of Jesus' love for us when he died on the cross to take away our sins.
We added some glitter on top to make the crosses sparkle. We maybe got some sparkles on our hands too!
PK3 learned about the parts of a fire truck and then made a delicious fire truck snack.
PK2 got dressed as fire dogs to learn about Fire Safety. Dog and Dalmatian both start with the Letter D and fit in perfectly with our Letter of the Week!
PK 2 dressed as fire rescue dogs!
She was ready to help spray water on the fire!
PK3 dressed as St. John's firefighters!
