Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

And while they were there, the time came for her (Mary) to give birth.  And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.  Luke 2:6-7

God cares for us so much that He sent Jesus to save all people from their sins. Each Christmas we are reminded of the greatest gift we have received, our Lord Jesus Christ!

We pray that you had a Merry Christmas remembering the reason for the season, JESUS!

- Miss Becker and Mrs. Koosman

We cut out the puzzle.  Then we sequenced a picture of the Christmas story.

They were so proud of the log cabin they built together.

They found small wrapped presents hidden in the sensory table. Then they decorated the outside of the table with the gifts.

We were able to get outside and enjoy the snow!

We had fun!

They worked together to push that big snowball.

We practiced our gift wrapping skills.

We decorated the play Christmas tree.

We explored in the gingerbread sensory table.

We had a school wide Christmas party before Christmas break.  The cafeteria was decorated and Christmas music was playing.

We played a game trying to scoop up candy canes with the candy cane in our mouth.

It was a little tricky.

But we still had fun!

We decided using our hands would be easier!

We recalled the Christmas story to complete our sticker page.

We decorated cookies at the PK5 party!

Thank you for your help moms!

We exchanged presents.

We give because God gave us the BEST gift, JESUS!

PK3 making candy cane ornaments at the party!

Then we used stickers to retell the Christmas story.

We played pin the nose on Rudolph.

It was pretty silly!

Then we went to the gym and played deliver the presents.

We tried to do it as fast as we could!

Then we got to play a present game.

We used our manners to thank our friends for our gifts.

PK2 was very speedy in their present deliveries!

Then we rolled a big dice and did some Christmas movements!

"Twirl like a snowflake 3 times!"

"Shine like a star 4 times!"

"Prance like a reindeer 2 times!"

We closed our eyes, counted to three as we spun around and took a turn putting Rudolph's nose back on!

Thank you for your help!

We loved having our families come and party with us!
