February Fun!

This Week In Pre-K

Letter: Rr

Religion:
The Man sick with Palsy
Jairus' Daughter

Theme: Dental Health (Mrs. Koosman's Class)
Valentines, Showing Love to others (Miss Becker's Class)

During this Valentine season, it is a good time to remember those that we love!  We also remember the unending love that Jesus has for all of us!

Using eggs to show what happens to our teeth if we don't take care of them.

Working on the skill of one-to-one correspondence by giving our ladybugs the correct number of spots.

Sorting out hearts by color.

We had fun doing some collaborative art.  They did well sharing the supplies and the space.

Making Valentines.

We learned about shapes and made a shape snowman!

These friends worked together to sort out the colored pegs and then followed the directions to make a clown face!

These classmates built a car wash.  They used letters to try and spell out Car Wash.  They had to get creative as they didn't have all the letters they needed.  I was so impressed by their teamwork and determination.

We made Alleluia Banners!  These banners were hid away during chapel on Friday because we are gearing up to enter the season of Lent in the church year.  This is a time to reflect on the suffering Christ went through for us when he died on the cross.  We also take this time to reflect on how we can live out our Baptism as children of God.

On Easter, our Alleluia banners will decorate the school to remind us that Jesus LIVES!

We worked on sharing kindness in our classroom by doing things for others.

We help sweep and vacuum.

We ask friends to play.

We share and take turns.

We keep our classroom tidy.

We help clean up.

We put our things away.

We stand in line nicely.

We love our friends!

Having fun at the science table using the balance.

Love watching these kids and their imagination.  He is pretending to be a cheetah and sniffing the ground to find his classmates.
