Grandparent's Day!

Pre-K Last Week:

Letter: Gg

Religion: Moses

Theme: Thanksgiving and Turkeys

On Friday, we enjoyed having our grandparents and special visitors come to our school for a visit!

Mrs. Strohschein's Class:

We had fun putting on puppet shows. We made invitations and put names down on the audience seats. Enjoy the show!

Working on scarecrow puzzles!

We love to build with legos. They are so fun!

On multiple days, we used all of the unifix cubes to make the longest line - it was 300 cubes long! Mrs. Strohschein took lots of pictures so we could see the whole line!

We practiced our letter of the week with mazes and cutting projects.

We are proud of the puzzles we complete. The friends like to do puzzles at school.

We learned how God moved the water of the Red Sea so Moses and God's people could cross. God is so strong! Mrs. Strohschein used a blow dryer to move the water and tell the story.

We made Native American necklaces. We've been learning about the Pilgrims and Native Americans at school as we prepare for our Thanksgiving Pilgrim Program.

We make people patterns at school. This was a girl-boy-girl-boy pattern. It was our longest pattern yet!

We like to play shape bingo. It helps us practice our shape recognition.

Making turkeys with our hands!

Thank you to all of the grandparents who were able to attend Grandparent's Day. It was so much fun to spend the day with you!

Mrs. Koosman's Class

We played a fun turkey game. We took turns rolling the big dice and counting all of the dots. Then we had to color in the turkey with the correct number.

Having fun in the new dramatic play area.
Pretending we are cooking a meal over a fire.
Making yummy pumpkin cookies in the sensory table.

Painting with bubble wrap to make our turkey art project.

Counting all of the corn.

Those cookies look great!

We were learning about what a ballot looks like.

We voted on our favorite animal.
We took turns putting our ballot into the box.

We tallied the results.

The winner was RABBIT!!

Thank you to all of the grandparents and special visitors that came to see us. We loved having you visit our school.

Gobble, Gobble!!
