St. Patrick's Day Fun

Pre-K last week:

Letter: U

Religion: The Lost Sheep, Jesus Loves Children
Theme: St. Patrick's Day!

Getting ready to perform our songs for the all school musical of "O Chicken of Little Faith."

The chickens in the barn go "cheep, cheep, cheep."

Practicing in the hallway before it's SHOW TIME!

Great job everyone!

The students had fun learning about leprechauns this week. They made many different traps and were ready to catch a leprechaun! Unfortunately, the leprechauns were too fast for us - they messed up our room and got away!

The students had fun pretending to be leprechauns. They had many pots of gold they were hiding around the classroom. We couldn't catch them!

We made many traps for the leprechauns.

We made 'leprechaun milk.' Then we blew BIG, GREEN BUBBLES!

This little leprechaun is working on a dinosaur puzzle...

It's so fun to play in shaving cream!

The friends have been playing a new snail board game.

The students love to build with the foam blocks.

We took the gold out of the leprechaun pots and turned them into fizzy, colorful pots! The students got to do a vinegar and baking soda experiment all by themselves.

We painted the rainbow. The students have been learning the order of the colors in a rainbow.

Silly leprechauns!

She was busy making leprechaun traps all over the classroom. She put out some great traps!

Working on a leprechaun pattern with unifix cubes - orange and green colors.

Making pictures for the leprechauns.

We caught Lucky the leprechaun in our trap!

We used magnifying glasses to look for the tiny leprechauns!

We made leprechaun jewelry - lots of necklaces and bracelets for St. Patrick's Day!

We left traps out in our classroom...

...but the leprechauns got away!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
