We're Having SNOW Much Fun!

Since we've had round 2 of snow outside, I thought I'd share some photos from our first snowfall. The first snow happened awhile ago, but it was exciting nonetheless! I think I had every student tell me at one point that there was snow outside, and I could tell they were bursting with excitement. We made it outside and weren't slowed down too much by all our gear. The kids had a blast outside! We will be excited to get back outside once the temperatures rise a bit.

Halloween Fun

The class was dressed to the nines the Friday before Halloween. We had everything ranging from Star Wars to unicorns! I loved seeing all the costumes and the kids had a blast with our Halloween activities!

Making Rainbow Fish

Together we read the book The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister and talked about why it's important to be kind to others. In the book, Rainbow Fish discovers that sharing his glitter scales makes others happy, but it also makes himself happy. It's so important to talk about sharing and kindness, and using literacy makes it even more engaging for the kiddos. To celebrate the awesome message from the story, we created our own Rainbow fish that you might see in the hallway on the way to our room!
